Red House

Red House consists of the refurbishment and roof extension of a 1960s terraced house on the Thames riverside in Kew, south-west London. The roof extension has been conceived as a glazed box opening to views of the river to the north. Vertical pivoting timber louvres provide shading and privacy. The design of the roof extension has set a precedent for other houses in the neighbourhood.
